Creative Synergy – Anne Simmie

I am new to the Artists’ Workshop this year, and greatly appreciate the motivation the group provides: I need to show up every Monday and make something! Conversations about process are so welcome, as are the occasional tip – make the door a lighter green, but not all over (thanks, Kathleen). 

Now we are doing the show and sale preparations which have taught me a lot about group efforts and organization (not my strong suit). Each member has special skills and viewpoints that inform and encourage. I like the idea of synergy as the whole being stronger than the individual and broadening our reach as artists.
