If you have been following our recent series of reflections on what Creative Synergy means for each member of the Artists’ Workshop group you will know how much being part of the group brings to each of our individual practices.
You have heard how we appreciate those who started the group in 1991, how they set high standards and provided the foundations for this group to thrive. You have also heard how mutually supportive the group is. Each artist works on their own creative path while supporting each other. When there are tasks to be done everyone contributes in their own unique way. Differences are valued and we all benefit from each other’s journey.
What I would like to highlight is you, our audience. Connecting with you brings another level of creative synergy to my artistic practice.
One of the goals of the group is to continue to have a diverse range of artistic styles and mediums. This contributes to the diversity of our audience. Sharing my work and interacting with a broader range of people is vital to my growth as an artist. Your reactions inspire me to continue my creative exploration and often spark new ideas.
Each of you brings your own experiences and perspectives and hearing about them expands my understanding of our community. The stories and memories you share are amazing. These glimpses into your lives connect us and add a new depth to my understanding of my own art and how it fits into the bigger picture.
As we have conversations about art and life we are building our community and contributing to the vibrancy of the arts.
Thank you. Your contribution brings energy and enthusiasm to the creative process.
