In my artwork my goal is to depict the prairie landscape with light and colour. I am so fortunate to live in a place where we experience four seasons, spacious skies filled with changing shapes, colours and moods, lands populated with crops, lakes, sloughs, forests, valleys, and long dirt roads that seemingly go on forever. I paint these images to bring joy, feelings of belonging, and to encourage people to appreciate the freedom and beauty around us.
