I am a painter and mixed-media artist based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. I hold a BFA from the University of Saskatchewan and exhibit my work throughout the province. My work is represented by Dandelion Art & Framing Gallery and the Saskatchewan Craft Council Boutique in Saskatoon, and by The Gallery at Mattick’s Farm in Victoria, BC.
My practice is rooted in observation of the prairie landscape, with an increasing focus on abstraction, process, and material exploration. Through layering, mark-making, and surface development, my work moves beyond direct representation to explore how the spirit of the land and sky can be conveyed through texture, gesture, and atmosphere.
Working in encaustic and mixed media, I build surfaces gradually, allowing the history of each piece to remain visible. My work reflects an ongoing interest in the relationship between process, place, and evolving visual language.
My work has been represented by commercial galleries: Collector’s Choice in Saskatoon 2020-2023, And Art Gallery in Davidson 2017-2020, Rouge Gallery Saskatoon 2006-2017, McIntyre Gallery Regina 2008-2012, Dandelion Gallery Saskatoon 2024-present. I have been a Juried Artist with Saskatchewan Craft Council since 2017 and show in the Boutique. I am a member of Artists’ Workshop. I have exhibited in many solo and group exhibitions.
