Here we are, summer definitely coming to an end, and autumn upon us on the prairies.
Various members of the Workshop are participating in art shows in Saskatoon and Humboldt. This is a good excuse to make a gallery day and see all the art happenings as we get underway for our ‘new year’.
Kathleen Slavin has a show on at the University Club at the University of Saskatchewan. The show, ‘Being Outside‘ is on from September 2 until the end of December.
Jean Dudley, a new member of the Workshop is part of a group show of the Saskatoon Plein Air Club which has an ongoing show this month at Hues (1818 Lorne Ave). This show is on from September 1 – 31, with the reception Sept. 10 from 2 – 4 pm.
The Humboldt and District Gallery (601 Main St, Humboldt) is having its first Members Show and Sale in conjunction with an OSAC show ‘A Sense of Place’. Val Miles, Paige Mortensen,Kathleen Slavin, and Lorraine Khachatourians are participating in this show, which is on from September 1 to October 23.
